Free Health, Beauty or Dining Experience with Sunraysia
To claim your free ‘feel great’ moment, you have to go to sunraysia.co.uk/feelgreat, select a moment and then enter your unique pack code. However, when you go to the site, you first have to register (or log in). The registration form is pretty scary looking and must put a lot of people off. They’re collecting name, postal address and email. A small brand really should be putting less barriers in the way of attracting consumers.
Once registered, I was asked to choose my feel great moment and the options I was given were “more”, “more” or “more” which was pretty unhelpful. The first “more” was a “feel good” moment with options like yoga and tai chi. The second “more” was a “pamper” moment with options like beauty and manicure. The third “more” was a “dining” moment with options of different cuisine styles.
The more I browsed, the more confused I got. Every option was labelled with an individual offer like “10% off”. What actually was the prize? I selected a Thai restaurant and keyed in my code. I was then told that the code was wrong. I triple checked the code and I’d definitely not made a mistake, but still it wasn’t accepted.
Overall, a total disaster of a promotion. It may temporarily sell a few more products but will do nothing for long-term brand trust.
