Win a Date with an Ä-List Celebrity with Häagen-Dazs

With Häagen-Dazs ice cream, you and three friends could join a top celebrity on a memorable date. They have carefully selected British screen talent who have described their most indulgent experiences. The prize includes 2 nights at a Malmaison or Hotel du Vin & Bistro and an indulgent day at the Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden.

To enter, you have to find the unique code at the bottom of the pack and enter it at www.hd-alist.co.uk. For me, this involved a lot of ice-scraping.

Once on the website I discovered that the dates were James Nesbitt, Rupert Penry-Jones and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Häagen-Dazs are collecting your name, date of birth, gender, postal address and email. Disappointingly, I couldn’t actually enter because the code was embossed on the base of the pack, and the ice (and possibly the scraping) had damaged it too much to read. I emailed haagen-dazs@coinks.zendesk.com to ask if they could help.

Nine days later, they did. They sent me a new code, which was great. However, when I entered the code I got an error: “This code was not recognised”. I triple checked each character against the code, submitted again, and got the same error. I decided to take a screenshot of the code and then a screenshot of the error to send to them, but the third time that I submitted it, I got the error “You’ve already entered that code”. So, I sent a new email to Coinks asking what was going on…
