Copella’s range of fruit juices have a promotion to give away English apple trees as part of their campaign to help reverse the decline of English apple varieties. To claim, you have to enter three promotional codes at copellafruitjuices.co.uk. Copella are collecting your name, email address and date of birth and require £4.95 to cover P&P. This certainly contradicts the claim that the apple tree is free to the consumer. The whole process has to be done at once, so you’ll have to save your codes until you have three. It would have been much better to allow the consumer to save their codes online until they’re ready. By not doing this, Copella have missed an opportunity to engage with consumers who haven’t yet collected enough codes.
