Free Kermit Backpack with Cravendale Milk

Feb 26 2012

Cravendale are building on their past experience with these sort of promotions and offering a free Kermit backpack in exchange for 20 unique codes. Previously they suffered from a huge consumer response and had fulfilment difficulties. To counter this, they’re wisely keeping it simple this time and have just a single product on offer.

To register my first code, I went to milkmatters.co.uk/muppets/. This time, they’re allowing the consumer to log in via Facebook, as well as using their existing login details, which is a huge step forward. I’m also very pleased to see that the site works perfectly on mobile.

Annoyingly though, I couldn’t use the same login details that I used for the last promotion and had to register afresh.

I really do think that the kermit backpack promotion should have lasted a little longer, because i now have two very disappointed little girls trying to save 40 codes was had enough just to find out on 21st April when i had collected them all the promotion had run out, why were the super markets still selling the milk with the back pack promotions on it… Seven days after the promotion had run its course.. alittle bit stiff don’t you think.

  2. Dear Trevor Rudge, I have had the same problen as you, impossible to read most of the codes.

  3. The codes on labels of cravendale are very hard to read and sometimes completely illegible. In trying to second guess the missing or illegible letter/number I have used several hours of dongle credit. It is unfair practice to disqualify an entry attemp due to illegibility on the label and be also punished by spending excess dongle credit.
Has anyone else found this a problem, how do people with poor sight cope with this, and what are the promoters prepared to do to compensate.
