Win an iPad with Wolf Blass Wine
Everyone wants an iPad, and there’s a new one out, so is that reason enough to offer one as a prize? Consumers don’t care of course; they’ll happily enter this promotion by Wolf Blass wine but for brands, promotional prizes shouldn’t just be directed at whatever consumers want at any given moment. Any brand can do that but it doesn’t mean anything: the prize must resonate with the brand somehow and I fail to see what an iPad has to do with the Wolf Blass brand which is associated with the power, strength and elegance of an eagle.
To enter the promotion, go to www.wolfblasspromotions.com. Wolf Blass are collecting your name and email address but as they say that this data will only be used to administer the promotion, they would have better success by asking for this data after the consumer has actually won. They’re also curious about why you bought the wine. Unusually, they also ask for the exact date and time of your till receipt. Mine’s in the bin unfortunately, so this is a huge barrier to entry.
After entering I simply got the message “Why not see if your luck improves at our Platinum Club?”. So do I assume that I didn’t win? It would have been nice to be told…
happy to win a prize any day a free comp with a wolkblass wine is a bonus
