PG Tips are running a promotion to win 100 prizes of £1,000 of supermarket e-vouchers plus 1,000’s of minor prizes. It is a little misleading because the pack infers it’s £1,000 cash. Still, everyone has to go to the supermarket, so it’s not too bad. It will appeal to most people.

As a long-standing family favourite, PG Tips have had plenty of time to hone their Brand Identity. The packs are instantly recognisable on the shelves. The pack design is perfect. The background information included emphasizes its history and environmental achievements.

The entry details are a little too small, font-wise, but still legible to me. They include two simply-designed QR codes so you can bypass the text completely and go straight to the website.

The website form is very clear and well-designed. The pack code is an easy-to-find location on the underside of the lid. The whole experience would be hard to beat.

From a Brand point of view, the Brand Traits are Pure, Sentimental and Generous. The Brand Values are Prosperity, Wealth, Kindness, Love, Health, Loyalty and Sustainability. This is a great and well thought through mix.
